SINGING VALENTINES: Greater Johnson City/Jonesborough area. Feb. 14, 12:30-5:30 p.m. Jonesborough Repertory Theatre Players will present personal greeting and a musical expression of your love with singing Valentine to office, home, classroom, restaurant or anyplace, $15. 423-791-4440.

VALENTINE SERENADE: Bristol Virginia Parks and Recreation Department’s Cupid have lined up singing duet teams to deliver that special someone a melody of love and / or appreciation on Feb. 14, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Along with their song, a rose and card will be presented at each visit. $17 per visit. LADIES VALENTINE’S DAY TEA: Jonesborough, Tenn., International Storytelling Center, Feb. 14, 10 a.m., a variety of teas, light pastries and Valentine ballads performed by Jonesborough Repertory Theatre Players. $10, 423-753-1010.

VALENTINE’S DAY DESSERT CABARET: Milligan College, Tenn., Milligan’s McCormick Dining Center, in Sutton Hall, Feb. 14, 8 p.m. Heard Mentality, Heritage and the Women’s Chorale will present Sweet Sounds dessert cabaret, which includes a variety of performers and lots of desserts. $15 adults/$10 students. VALENTINE’S DAY PERFORMANCE: Kingsport, Stir Fry Café Banquet Room, Feb. 14, begins with sweetheart full course dinner and desserts, 6:30 p.m. Lamplight Theatre presents Imanol’s Epiphany. VALENTINE’S DAY PARTY: Wise, Va., The Hangar, Feb. 14, 9 p.m. to midnight. Ron Short and The Possum Playboys present a very special Risque Valentine’s Day just for adults. Dance dressed-up in romantic costumes, champagne and chocolate. Also, $50 award (cash and merchandise) for best dressed man and woman, chosen by audience. $5 at door.

VALENTINE DANCE: Marion, Va., Holston Hills Community Golf Club, golf course ballroom, Feb. 15, 9 p.m. to midnight. Music by Travelers Revision Band featuring oldies, classic rock and beach music. $25 per person. VALENTINE CABARET: Blountville, Tenn., Northeast State Community College, Feb. 15 and Abingdon’s Barter Theatre’s Stage 2, Feb. 17, the Highlands Youth Ensemble will perform A Grand Night for Singing with a dessert reception and silent auction, 6:30 p.m.; show 7:30 p.m. for both nights.
